My name's Roger and I'm new here as you will figure out. Just purchased a J35 with an IO-520. Maybe some of you will know the airplane, 8367D. I've only flown it home form Kansas, 1.5 hrs so I don't even know what to ask yet. Anyway thanks for having me. rog

Roger,
Welcome to BeechTalk.

Oh, and there's a rule here regarding discussing one's plane:

IT DOESN'T REALLY EXIST UNLESS THERE ARE PICTURES.

Please post some!

Thanks for the welcome. I am in NE Ar. 8M2 about 20 mi. south of Jonesboro. Russelville is some pretty country. I'll try to add a picture as an avatar like I see some of you have done. Now how do I edit my profile (wrong N#) and add a pic as an avatar.?

There may be other ways, but one is to click on "Preferences" in the red bar under the blue "Beech Talk" banner. Then click on "Profile" in the list on the left side of the screen. That will open a dialog for editing your profile. Look for "Edit Avatar" in the list under "Profile" for adding/changing the Avatar.

Welcome Roger! :)

I love your state! Hung out in the northwest (Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, Eureka Springs) area for many years. Great hunting, fishing, camping, rafting and :tape:
Post some pics when you can.

Pictures will come, just might take a few days to get it done. Bill I guess you've been to Gastons. Nice fly in getaway or just for lunch. Thanks again for the welcome. rog

Gastons and White River rafting dozens of times. Can't put into words the memories and fun times we had. :dancing:

Gaston's is a trip we take each year. Catch and release, of course. Over last year's Labor Day holiday, the count was way over 200. Wonder if I ever caught the same fish more than once!

Glad you have joined us Roger.

I'm in SE Oklahoma in McAlester. Let's plan a weekend to Gaston's. We love going there.
