Hi everyone! Thanks for including me in the forum. I have all my ratings ATP, MEI etc. and flew commercially for a while. I am just looking for now but, I would like own my own airplane sooner than later, but probably later. My first ride in a GA airplane was in 1976 A36. I enjoy your discussions.

Oh, I ditched those 2 losers long time ago. ...Always in the prop wash. J/K I'm in Lakewood, CA. I can see Jet Blue departing from my house. (And just for the record that's not related to any Sarah Palin's previous Alaska/Russia comments) I have questions, but I'd hate to ask something that's already posted. But I guess I'll just dive in. Thanks again!

Hi Douglas, Welcome to THE place to talk, listen and learn about anything Beechcraft. When I joined a year ago I was a 150 hour VFR pilot with big dreams of ownership. Since that time I've lurked and read a TON of great info and got a bunch of super advice, and in that time learned enough to go out and buy a '62 Debonair Now all I have to do is learn to pay for it My Debbie is tied down at Fullerton. If you're not afraid of a near-50-year-old, bottom-of -the-barrel, steam gauge Beech (still WAY better than anything I was renting), I'd be happy to drag you around the sky so you can see the minimum you should expect from a Beech. Everything else is going to be nicer, but it is still a great steed. Roomy, comfortable and plenty of power (for me, anyway). PM me if you're interested and we'll see if we can make our schedules sync-up. Welcome aboard!
