Paul, welcome aboard, you'll love your V35A, I had one for 10 years. I know there are a few other Aussies here on BT.

Hi David, you must be looking forward to your trip. I have not flown up to Queensland before so not much help to you there. I bought the plane in Ballarat Victoria flew it back then returned to Melbourne two weeks later for the M.CUP. I flew from Jandakot - Kalgoorlie - Ceduna - Horsham - Essendon all in the same day (big day!) Coming back much the same and included Forrest due to a sreaming head wind. I guess you have the option of going across the top then down the North coast or down the east coast and across, which way are you thinking? cheers

Sorry I'm late to the party, again, I somehow keep getting tangled up on those other threads

Anyway Paul, I just wanted to welcome you and 2nd the comment on the paint. I love that scheme. It reminds me of a Plane & Pilot cover plane from 15+ years ago. I believe they referred to the red as "Toreador Red".

Simply beautiful
