I presently own a C-182 and I am interested in up grading to a A36 or F33. I am doing a lot of reseach to determine which aircraft is best suited to my needs. I had a short flight in a 94 turbo A36 this weekend, my first in a Bonanza and now I know why once you fly in a Bonanza nothing else will do. I hope to do a lot of diging on this site to learn as much as possible before making up my mind on the model and plane to purchase.

Welcome, Gary. You will make a good choice when you buy any of the Bonanza models. We will gladly help you spend your money. It would be nice if you would put your location in the information section with your name. It really helps a lot when you post certain kinds of questions. Have fun with your search.

Thanks for the replies, I live in the Vancouver, B.C., Canada area and I also own a home in San Tan Valley, AZ which is S.E. of Phoenix. I have flown mostly in Western Canada and as far North as Inuvik NWT (approx.50 miles S. of the Arctic Ocean). I flew my C182 down to AZ in October to stay for the winter. Great flight but a little slow, I have the need for speed along with comfort and the Bonanza fits the bill with the funds I have available. I have to sell the C182 first according to my wife so I have to wait to return to Canada to do that. I am not sure but I don't think I can sell it in the US when the plane is already down here. Something to do with US customs. My flight time has been limited to C172's and mainly C182 which has a useful load of 1150 lbs. which I find about right for my needs.

Thanks for the feed back, bring a US plane into Canada can be easy as long as there aren't a lot of field approvals on the plane. Field approvals are not allowed in Canada and any changes to certified aircraft have to be STC'd. Other than that it is quite easy just a little costly between $3000. to $7000. depending on the plane.
