John here, in Canada.
Joined awhile ago. Just saying hello now. Got my plane last week.

Now the learning begins!! There still seems to be so much I don't know about her.
I surely will have a lot of questions.

John

Thanks all.
The plane is so, "over the top", it is fantastic.
7 of 12, is mine!

I come from a Seneca III. My friend Rod mentioned it for sale in here somwhere.

Did the FlightSafety Course (wife and I), delivery and flight home.

The whole experience is a pilot's dream vacation.
(Special thank you to Trevor and everybody at HBC. Wayne, Paula, Jennifer, Jo, Norm, Greg and others I will remember after I hit the send button. And there were others. Everybody at HBC has been "top drawr", fantastic in every way. Thank you all!!!) It was super fantastic.

Looking forward to flying her this weekend.
(Yes, her. I get that from my wife, so all I can say is, "okay.")

John

Good to see you on here John!

Here is the for sale thread for the seneca I had made... all of you guys poking fun at the seneca and I had to keep my mouth shut and not say it was being replaced by a 50th anniversary G58!! It's still for sale if you guys know of anyone, it's a beautiful plane and extremely well taken care-of.

Glad to have a Can G58 close to me.

Lets see... how can I benefit from this beautiful plane...

John and the baron charge an appearance fee, like the real Erin Brokovich, who charges 25k per appearance, or Bill Clinton who charges something like 1 million a pop. John and the baron, to pop over to buttonville (a whole 10 minute flight in this twin engined hot-rod) charge only 10k.

However, as a limited time offer, if you Paypal me right away I'll sell you an appearance for only 5k!!! But wait, there's more, if the money shows up in my account within the next 10 minutes I'll double the offer, that's John and I in the baron for only 5k!!

What a bargain... it's a beechtalk special for the brotherhood :peace:

Hi all.

Yes, Buttonville is close by, but in a Baron, everything is close!
If I am stopping in, I will email you.

We were away for two weeks, I am still catching up on stuff.
Meaning I have not had a chance to fly her again yet since bringing her home.
Hopefully Saturday I will get to go somewhere. I am still breaking in the engines, so will choose something an hour or more away.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!
I had no idea these planes were so great.
I am not missing the turbocharging at all. In my Seneca, all I ever went to was 10,000 feet. And I do have an oxygen bottle. I just couldn't be bothered.

Really strange thing is, I went out and bought a Flying magazine, just to read about it.
Yet I have one????

Maybe I can sneak away later and visit her......

John

aha, yet you thought you'd miss "throttling back" to 33" on climb out!

I'm emailing you right now with some good news.
