Wade, Welcome to BT and congratulation on your wise choice of aircraft. When your finished exploring the East coast, from your North Carolina base, come on out to Texas and let us show you some of our southern hospitality. Post some pictures of your new A36 when you can. Chris

Chris Hello, Chris. I thought you left the "South" when you crossed the Mississippi. ?? BTW, I finally finished the bottle of 21 yrs. old Glen. Thank you, thank you! I went slow on that treasure. Come back soon.

Max,
Your right, I thought I knew what gracious southern living was all about, that was until I was fortunate enough to spend a little time in Eastern Tn.
I look forward to returning to Knoxville and I will bring you a little whisky from the Isle of Islay
Take care my friend and stop by next time you have a little time.
Chris

Thank you everyone for the kind welcome.
My home airport is KPGV: Pitt Greenville Airport, Greenville, NC. Major attraction is East Carolina University. When I first moved here from New Orleans in 1997, it was a city of about 45000. Now it is over 90,000 population. It is a great city for raising a family, something my wife and I are doing now. It is also a great place for a pilot with an airport that has 3 runways, longest 6500. When I pick up my A36 on Sunday, I will take pictures to post. Even if I say so myself, it has a beautiful paint job (White/Blue/Gray) by Oxford Aviation.
