Hi,
Im obviously new to the forum. I dont have my private pilots license quite yet, hopefully should finish within the next month. Just doing a lot of solo, night, and cross country stuff as of late. Im obviously on this forum for my facination with the Beechcraft Bonanza A36. I have never flown one, or had the opportunity to be in one. I have only flown the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Im looking forward to reading these topics and hopefully in the next several months I will have an opportunity to experience what all this Bonanza hype is about. Always hear nothing but great things. Anyways, its good to join this forum....oh yea, and I am hooked on flying bad!!

Welcome. DFW is pretty big, let us know where you fly out of. If you are looking for some Bonanza experience the only place I know in DFW that rents/instructs in them is at RFC Dallas. Here is the link: http://www.rfcdallas.com/

You'll have to do some more flying before they'll turn you lose with a Bo, but the rates are really, really good about $150 per hour wet for a F33.

Emil:

I'll echo the welcome.

Tell us a bit more about yourself. From time to time, some BTers get together, and I bet you'd be welcome to join us.

The RFC Dallas club, referenced above, is a great resource for the aspiring Bonanza pilot. You'd have to build time before being eligible to fly the Bos, but RFC's Cherokee and Cardinal RG are among the all-time bargains in aircraft rental, and the club does a fine job of promoting safe and professional piloting practices.

Plus, it's fun!

Again, welcome to BeechTalk.

Thanks Alex and Spike for the welcomes. I am currently flying out of Addison (KADS). I actually live in downtown Dallas, so eventually if I ever purchase an aircraft, I probably would want to fly out of Dallas Executive Airport. Alex, I will check out that link. Im an avid person about details, I used to race cars and assemble my own engines. I just want to learn as much as I can, and I think this forum will be a good supplement.
