Hello. I joined a few months ago and really enjoy the forums. My P-Baron and I have been together for 10 years flying between Mount Pocono Pa and Los Angeles, CA. I really enjoy the capabilities of this aircraft....its a keeper! Have had many experiences with this airplane. Have also replaced the panel, engines paint and interior. Started at FSI when I bought the airplane and still attend every three/four months. Constantly looking to learn and exchange ideas and experiences. Next big thing is weather school...on-line course from U of P.

Yes, welcome indeed. Great to have another P-Baron driver/owner onboard.

something caught my eye:

every 3 or 4 months, for the last 10 years :bugeye: You must be smitten with one of their attractive gals at the front desk. That's one serious recurrent training schedule.

Tyler:
I keep to that regiment to be sure of my proficiency especially with emergency procedures. I believe it saved my life years ago in a catastrophic failure of the left engine taking off from Midway in Chi.....Thanks for the welcome!

That's great. I've just never seen such an aggressive recurrent training regiment. Certainly can't hurt...you've got to be the most trained pilot in the history of the 58P (which is a good thing).

Keeps me safe and no matter how many times I go...always learn something new. Looking forward to my on line weather school. Have to do real forecasts!
