Hello my name is Richard Barter most call me Rick, I used to own a C model Bonanza. I am stuck in the light sport areana now but still do alot of maintenance on Bonanzas in my shop. I put a Starship back in the air that came out of the boneyard a few years back, lots of political baggage attached to that project. Anyway I am and always will be a fan of the Beech Bonanza.

Welcome Rick !!
Your going to enjoy this site. I've always loved the Starship and did get to sit in one yrs ago when in Winston/Salem,NC for our prebye on our J35. One of the prettiest high end looking aircraft I have enjoyed. Used to live in Lake Havasu,Az before moving to the midwest...I imagine the temps are stating to climb ? Again WELCOME.
Tim

I too am based out of Marana. Hangar 206.

Are you involved with the 6 or 7 aircraft parked just off 12/30?

Rick, Welcome!

I for one appreciate your joining for many reasons. First of all, it seems that you appreciate "Beech" as do most of us here.

Secondly, anyone who is putting Starships back in the air deserves a  .
I commend you sir. There are several of us here who absolutely love that bird

Finally, I noticed that you have a Sunbeam Tiger in one of your photos of the Starship. That's a great little car. What year is it? 65, 66?
