I've been a member for a bit and just discovered the introduction section, so here goes. I've been Bonanza owner since 2000. First plane was a new 2000 A36. Kept if for 5 years and I'm now flying a 2006 G36. Both are wonderful planes. The G36 is particularly nice with the G1000 and all the goodies that it has. We have taken the G36 from Coast to Coast over the past two years and it has performed flawlessly. Bonanzas are a joy to fly, and I always look back over as I walk into the FBO after landing with pride, knowing that I own a great airplane.

Regards,

Congrats John! A fine machine indeed.

Welcome to BT and the loosely knit group of Beech folks in the DFW area.

If you are ever around DTO (Denton, TX) let me know and I may be able to be out there to offer you a cold soft drink or Dilly Bar.

And if you need an O2 fill, I can hook you up with that as well at CSOB HQ on the south side of the field off taxiway Lima.

Mike

OK Spike, you're invited too!

In fact all yall DFW Beech owners feel free to let me know if you're going to be around and if I'm around, I'll open up the entertainment center and the fridge for soft drinks and ice cream bars (nothing like a Texas sized Dilly Bar) :woot:

and provide O2 bottle top offs with my transfill two cylinder cascade system.

Ahem, a little donation to the "Double Diamond" would be appreciated ;)

Not to jack the thread, but could you tell us some more about the O2 Cascade system?

Hi Keith,

I don't have pics or a narrative on it yet, but just set it up with two 251CF oxygen cylinders. They come in at about 2,000psi and I don't have the "T" fittings yet for the double cylinder hook up yet (coming this week), so I just filled my bottle to 1900psi from the first cylinder. I only have a 15CF bottle so I will have quite a few fills available to me and am happy to help other Beech folks out.

Give me a few weeks and I will have a narrative on it.

Because O2 fills on the road are NOT CSOB! :pullhair:
