Well after some time reading as many posts as I can, I should introduce myself. I am currently a piper owner and have the bug to move up to a twin. In my searching, I have flown in a senaca and a Baron and just could not go back to the senaca after the Baron. I am in the market for a Baron and have been looking at as many as I can. I think I have more questions now then when I started this journey, but the site has answered so many.

Robert,

Your timing is good. The Barons will soon be given away with a box of Cracker Jacks. :duck: Bonanzas will only be given away with two boxes.

Check out the BE58 in another recent thread.

There has never been a better time for one to satisfy his lust for a twin.

Max, I was suprised at the price of that plane. I had been looking at older airframes (64-68) because of price. I was wondering what your opinion is on the older airframes? It seems like I can get low time enginges and good panel for a reasonable price currently. How would they compare to the mid 70's it seems like I would get higher time and less in the panel

Robert, I do not know the plane to which you refer. ???

Older airframes are fine if there has been no impact or hail damage. That, and corrosion would be a concern on all airframes.

There are a lot of nice 45 year old Baron airframes still in great shape. You can't say that about many twins with another brand label on the cowling. Beech's superior build quality is the reason.
