Hello all! I've been lurking waiting for my deal to complete on my aircraft. I did not want to jinx myself before getting the deal done. It's a 1977 V35B. TT is approx 2250 with 275 on a I/O 520 factory reman. Modest avionics right now but I will be installing a 530W, 327, 340, and KX-155 with GS. I am also planning on adding the Aspen 1000 Pro...before the rebate runs out this month.

I grew up in a flying family with both my mother and father being pilots. As a matter of fact, when I was born my mother had to drag my father away from working on our Tri-Pacer to go to the hospital. We also owned Champs, Chiefs, and a Taylor craft. I was fortunate to grow up living on an airport in Missouri. Literally the runway was my front yard.

I started flying when I was 15...a little of 30 years ago and I am still flying today. I attended the Univ of Missouri where I was also in Air Force ROTC. I was fortunate enough to get selected to attend pilot training and finished in 1989 and I've been in the Air Force ever since. Would not trade it for anything. I have been blessed to be able to serve and fly F-15A's, F-15C's, B-2's, and of course the training platforms of the T-37 and T-38. The journey has taken from from Columbus AFB MS, Holloman AFB NM, Tyndall AFB FL, Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan, Nellis AFB NV twice, Langley AFB, VA twice, Whiteman AFB MO, twice, Newport Rhode Island, and Vance AFB Oklahoma. Today I am an instructor in the T-6 Texan II and the Vice Wing Commander having previously serve as the Operations Group Commander.

This is my fourth aircraft to own. I have owned a C-182, Cherokee 140, and still have a 1959 7EC Champ, which is a whole lot of fun to fly but not to travel in.

I am blessed to have a lovely wife and 16 year old daughter that also love to fly. We have been making plans to attend various events over the summer and we look forward to meeting many of you on this forum. We will be moving in June from Oklahoma to the Omaha Nebraska area. I am looking for places to keep the Bonanza. The market and availability seems reasonable. I welcome any suggestions from the group.

I am just an hour NW of you in Alva, I did my training with an instructor from Vance a couple of years ago and plan to finish my IFR with him soon. Hope to see you around Woodring sometime soon!

Wes...Woodring is having a fly in Saturday. It's their first of the season. They are having 80 cents per gallon off fuel sale for full serve. Unfortunately, I will be out of town, but will return to Woodring via T-6, that afternoon.

I've been to Alva a couple of times. I plan on flying up to visit Mr Bob Baker in the near future.

For those who might wonder, Col VanHerck is my boss! or at least, one of them. A pleasure to work for and a pleasure to fly with.

Wow, I finished school out there in Norman under the Palace Chase program and served at Tinker. Its weird when I land at Norman to say that I am alumni there and that my loyalties and funds are to the Gators. Maybe thats why I have trouble starting my plane every time when I leave Norman.

My wife and I are both Okies living out here in NC. Our neighbors Keith & Heather are Okies as well as OU grads. Keith, is a Major in the USAF and flies with me in my Bo.

You have bought yourself a terrific airplane. After familiarization with it talk the USAF into removing the ugly vertical roadsign they place on the rear of all of their aircraft.
