Hi, my name is Phil Larson. I'm new here, I found the forum while researching a problem with a customer's bonanza. I'm an A&P, and I run a pilot shop/repair/inspection/builder assistance facility on Lenhardt Airport in Oregon (7S9). My father had a G model bonanza for many years which I worked on quite a bit.

I'll probably lurk quite a bit, but if anyone has any questions for me feel free to e-mail me. Especially if you're in the area or plan to pass through. We've got a pretty good gathering of bonanzas on this field.

Stop in sometime. It was cruddy weather today...but we had about 4 dozen doughnuts in the pilot lounge today for doughnut Friday.

I actually spent the day diagnosing/troubleshooting an electric prop. Problem traced to the mag...which I found was shorted internally. If your prop doesn't work in auto, but does work in manual....check your mags!

I really enjoy working on beechcraft....the quality of the aircraft makes it a pleasure to maintain. One has only to open a few inspection panels to see the difference between piper, cessna, and beechcraft.

I think I'm gonna like this guy

All kidding aside Phil, welcome aboard. When you get a chance I might suggest that you start poking around the site here and look at the posts from Paul McCracken. I think you two will have a good time talkin Beech

Given your profile picture...I think we'd get along pretty well also. One of my favorite Reagon quotes:"The trouble with our Liberal friends...is not that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so." Ronald Reagon, 1964
