Hello everyone!

My name is Michael Siegle. I would like to introduce myself as a previous lurker/occasional poster.

My family has been longtime friends with T. Roehl and G. Braly, as they helped convince my dad to purchase a 1976 A-36. My father bought the plane to fly up to Quincy, IL to see my sister and I after my parents split. Parents splitting can be rough, but it is only now that I recognize the effort put into traveling 600 nm in disguise to see his kids. (I know, "Worthless Without Pics", but I'm not sure if the statute of limitations has run out!) THANK YOU MOM & DAD!

I am a recent graduate from The University of Oklahoma (2007) with a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering degree. They brought me on as an intern, during the summer months between classes, and indoctrinated me at the church of LOP. I still remember the smile George gave me when I asked him what his license plate meant. "WOTLOP" :D After graduation, I had the fantastic opportunity to work with crew at GAMI/TATI, helping out with design and manufacturing processes of the Cirrus and Bonanza system. Don't worry, George, your secrets are safe with me! George gave me the guidance of an idea scribbled on a napkin over lunch, provided me the freedom to design "World Peace" :peace: , and fostered GAMI/TATI as more of a learning environment than just a job. I am forever indebted to Tim and George for the opportunity to fly their airplanes and learn from them both. THANK YOU GEORGE & TIM!

I have since moved on from ADH, as my girlfriend of almost 4 years is in Pharmacy school at The University of Oklahoma - Tulsa. She is only beginning to understand how an "expensive hobby" like flying can provide a cost effective way to travel and provide so much happiness. She flew her first flight in a "Small Plane" or a C-172 as the rest of us would call it, and seemed to enjoy it! She also encourages my lessons, which is always a good attribute for SWMBO! THANK YOU LOURDES!

I am currently working at Spirit AeroSystems as a Liaison Engineer, assembling the new Gulfstream G650 wings. They are BEAUTIFUL and of will lift it to FL510 at 0.95Mach. Needless to say, I enjoy my job. It is only made better, because they pay for my continual education at The University of Tulsa in an MBA - Finance program. THANK YOU SPIRIT!

Now back to learning from everyone around here about their planes and experiences. THANK YOU BEECHTALK!

See-Glee, OK, I like that pronunciation.

It is good to hear about your new job. It sounds very interesting.

Keep us posted on the goings on in your life and your progress in flying. Maybe you will have to test some of those wings at Mach .95 someday. I would love to fly that plane.

Good luck in the job and with the MBA.
