A Straight 35 with a IO-470C?
I knew you were a sharp guy after talking to you, but...now I know why! What a nicely matched combo.
Had no idea. I've owned a Straight 35 as well and I truly loved that airplane. So light and frisky....pretty darn fast, too. (electric prop with 88" blades)
What kind of cruise speeds to you see with that?
Serial number? (mine was D-304)
Paul Paul, I've really enjoyed her. As you say, light and frisky(especially frisky in a stall). Cruise speed is 135 kts at 9.5 gal/hr. Serial number is D-972. Mine has the hydraulic prop. BTW, standby, as I may have a job for you. I'll know at the end of the week.
