Hi Folks,

Glad to find this forum...! I look forward to getting involved and learning a bunch....!

We just bought a very nice 1977 F33A that will fit the family flying role perfectly. I am busy reading books trying to figure out how to fly with all this new fangled equipment! Aspen, 530w, SL30, and 696... all very cool stuff for a round dial guy.

You'll find many helpful and knowledgeable people here, willing to give you lots of sage advice. However, they won't give you nuthin' if you don't post some pictures of your plane and panel

The appendage is a paper weight I'm afraid... :shrug:

but it is bigger than the A36 coffee cup holders!

But seriously, its a Bendix radar. Hopefully we won't ever get close enough to see if it really works!
