Hi folks... I'm a former F33A and Skipper owner... who now has a Cessna T210.
I'm a working corporate pilot flying a Gulfstream G350 and a Citation Excel based in Palm Springs. I've still got my place in Phoenix, and my hanger at DVT, and find myself going back and forth a bunch.
I signed up as a sponsor - and you'll see the Kats Coolers thing appear in the sponsor links shortly - and I'll post something in the Peddlers talk - and give you guys a discount if anyone wants an inexpensive (less than $400) portable air conditioning system for your airplane.
But if you're open to a Cessna guy chatting in your forums as well - there's a few discussions I've liked reading and may throw a word or two in on.
On the airplane front - I love the feel of the F33A. Its controls were light and well balanced - reminded me of the control feel of an early Learjet. The Skipper was a plane I had working at a flight school - but it was a good, reliable airplane - roomy and comfortable for the students - with a great panel. The 210 - it's truck like - hauls anything you can close the doors on, but it doesn't have the control harmony or the solid feel of the Bonanza. 210's feel more like the Gulfstream - heavy and stable.
The only reason I got out of Bonanzas was the heat of the southwestern deserts summertime sun. The F33 had air conditioning - but it wasn't strong enough, and I was always sitting baking in the sun. I bought the 210 so I'd at least be sitting in the shade, and have two huge windows to open. Had I built my coolers back when I was flying the Bonanza - I may not have sold that plane. It had a great solid feel and a nice smooth ride.
Anyway - that's a start. The avatar is my daughter - Katherine - who is going on three, and loves planes - and already says she wants to learn how to fly... and that's good - because as I see it - teaching her how to fly is cheaper then fixing the autopilot.
Thanks,
Brett

Welcome Brett, and a hearty thank you for sponsoring BT! We welcome you into all discussions, regardless of whichever inferior airplane you drive. Good looking kid you got there, too. Post up some airplane pics when you have a moment. The 210 is generally well-regarded here and elsewhere. Best, Jeff

Brett: I have a 78 F33A and I'm interested in your air conditioning system. Let me know where I can get information. You can email me at gregg@feinberglaw.com.
