Hello everyone. Just joined BT because I'm strongly considering getting back into flying after a 15 year absence. I must confess to being an old Mooney driver with 1400 hours. I stopped flying because the responsibilities of rasing our kids and working made my flying time too infrequent and hence neither safe nor financially viable. Now the kids are much older and we have a 90 pound golden retriever and would like to get into something a little more roomy than the 252 that I last flew.

Richard, I switched from brand M to brand B about 14 yrs ago after 2500 hours (201 and 231). I have an A36 and you will love a Bonanza. If I could not fly a Bo I'd be back in a Mooney but they are different airplanes. My wife loves the club seating and large back doors (hard to get antiques into the luggage bay in a Mooney). ABS is a great owners group, lots of info.
