Hi Guys,

Thought I would get around to introducing myself. Been lurking here for awhile, but have been active on the Beechlist for some time.

This is my 62 P35, my first airplane. Got my license in 2005 and bought it two weeks later. It had sat in a heated hangar for seven years and took exactly a year to overhaul it and get it to fly. Replaced everything firewall forward and nearly everything else as well.

Pretty much read everything on the Beechlist and received quite the education.

My Bonanza instructor was a former BPPP guy and the plane was one of his students that never got a license. He ran me pretty much through the entire BPP course and I took my instrument rating in it as well. I have 460 hours flying time in it.

Needless to say I love it, although I admit I do lust for a TNIO550 and TKS this time of year in Wisconsin, as I use the plane for business.

Hello Scott,

Welcome to the other Beech forum. I don't knock the beechlist but found a new home here quite a while back. I like this format so much better. The great photos and use of real names has made this place much better for me. I've met a lot of nice people because of BT.

Hope you post a lot and enjoy BT as much as I have.

Hi Scott, these pictures don't do your plane justice. I was the appointment after you at the RFD service clinic a couple of years ago. I am still amazed at how clean she was. I swear the bugs must see you coming and just get out of your way.

Hi Scott,

Glad to see you popped in.

We'll have to schedule another Brat Fry in ATW someday soon for all the Beech Owners in the area

Mike

Please do that. Appleton is my home town and I am just 20 minutes away.

You can count on it Gil!

Possibly the weekend of 5/14 is looking good right now.

I have a mega gas grille and can easily get some Usingers Brats and roasted corn on the cobb and soft drinks (beer for non-pilots  )

Here we are enjoying last year's ATW Brat Fry

Thanks much for the compliments guys.

I was at the last brat fry and am in the picture. I fly out of Waukesha.

I also have a hangar at Shelbyville, TN--KSYI. Great fly in breakfasts once a month.

Here is a shot of my panel.
