Hello Beechtalk world - I am Cory Miller, 2 weeks from my 70th birthday. I have owned my 1960 Beechcraft Travel Air for 17 years, and have about 1400 hours in it. Trained and ground tested for instrument rating - but lost my instructor and never got back to that. Been shopping for a bit faster plane - so I've been looking at B58 Barons and 700P Aerostars. I live in Longview Texas and hangar my plane in Gilmer - 30 minutes from home. I should have joined this forum years ago - but I've been too busy with my water well drilling and mud pump manufacturing businesses. Commonly fly to Orlando to visit our daughter - 4.75 hrs. flight - if I fly 9,500' I can just make it to KORL with proper reserve. https://photos.flightaware.com/photos/r ... 2241f2a2cc
