My name is Jill Nezworski and I am a single engine commercial instrument rated pilot. I recently returned from AZ with a new to me 1969 36 Model. I fly out of Hector MN (1D6) and did my transition training with Hank Canterbury in Glendale AZ. Quite a change from my trusty 1954 Cessna 180!!

Dropped the new plane off at New Ulm MN for some squawk repairs I discovered on the way home. Really appreciate all the great information and advise here.

Welcome to BeechTalk. I'm not too far away, based at KFCM (Eden Prairie).

Welcome Jill!
Now that you own a 36, don’t let the secret out that half of the decent looking landings made in a Bonanza could easily have been a crash in a cezzzzana 180

Welcome Jill,

Sounds like you've done well with getting an early 36. You will love the "cargo doors".
Another well done on getting Hank C. to help you transition.

This group likes pictures or videos.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions...

and they can help you spend your money on aircraft upgrades. :dancing:

Welcome. Have fun and congrats on being a “real” pilot that has transitioned to an EZ plane now from the 180.

On the way home we landed at North Platte NE with a stiff crosswind that would have kept me busy in the 180, no problem in the 36. Its just a pleasure to fly with way less stress than the 180. Looking forward to planning a panel upgrade and getting back to IFR current.

don't know why the picture is upside down or how to fix it.

Congrats Jill and welcome. I've got a 69 36 as well. E-167. I've had it 5 years and love it.

Kromers are great hats. Brimmed to protect your eyes, little ear flaps to keep your ears warm when needed, fold them up when not, but not too hot for indoor use. I know it reinforces the sterotype but function or fashion any day.

Hay Jill,
You mention Farm Country, are you farming some ground there in Viking Country?

My in laws are the active farmers. We own farm ground but rent it back to my hubby's brother.
