Hello All,
My name is Jim. I am part owner of a wonderful Sundowner that lives in our hangar affectionately known as the BeechHouse. I fly out of the Anoka County-Blaine Airport (KANE), just north of MSP. I first started flying in late 2012. I hold a commercial single engine and instrument rating, and I am working on my CFI rating this year.
I am also an aviation podcaster, hosting and producing two podcasts...in addition to my fulltime job!
The first is the Flying Midwest Podcast, which is all about aviation news, events, people, and programs in the region. We shoot for a fun hangar talk vibe with our team and guests.
My second podcast is Fly the Transition. This weekly podcast is all about those making the leap into a second career in aviation. I talk to people from many walks of life and hear their story of where they came from and how they got into an aviation career.
Happy to be part of the community!
Jim (KANE)

Jim (KANE) Welcome. We always need more active pilot members from Mpls in BT. Where would one find your podcasts? Also the secret forum rules demand that you post a few pictures of your airplane (you can include yourself in the pics if you want).

Welcome Jim! Glad to have you here.
I am part of the Baby Beech Club as well! I fly N4747J, a 1967 Musketeer. I too am based at KANE; I hangar at North Carolina West. It would be great to meet up with you sometime.
BTW, have you joined beechaeroclub.org? It's the type club for our birds. It will be the best 50 bucks you'll spend. Lots of knowledge there.
