Hello Beechtalkers, My name is Larry Barels and I've been a member of this forum for about 3 years. I live in Santa Barbara, CA and also have a home and hanger in Mammoth Lakes. Up until now I've not been an active poster, I came to this forum to get information from the experiences of the knowledgable folks here that would help me with upgrades for my current airplane, a 1994 Beech 58. I'm 75 and I've been an active pilot and aircraft owner for over 40 years. I've had the good fortune to own and operate some great planes during that time. Those include 2 Cessna 210's, a Baron 55, a King Air C90A, an Extra 300, 2 CJ 1's, a Bonanza and now my current B58. I have Commercial, Multi engine, & Instrument Ratings with a single pilot type rating in both a CJ 525 1 & 3 and about 4500 hours total time. Over the last two years I've vastly updated the panel of the Baron and added some very nice creature comfort enhancements. I'm going to spend some time shortly to figure out how to add photos and I'll get them up soon along with some specifics on my panel modifications. I'm happy to share and glad to be a part of this great forum.
