Hi all, I'm glad to have found this group. Thanks for allowing me to join. I got my PPL a couple of years ago, joined a 182 club near Chattanooga, and have been enjoying flying my family of 4 around and building time toward an instrument rating. My wife sure appreciates the quick flight to SC to see family versus the 5-hour car ride with our young kids. I'm interested in making more long-distance trips from TN, down the coast and out west, once I have my IR. A 36 feels like the right next step when I'm ready, but I'd like to meet local owners and get more familiar, possibly log some time if there are any CFII owners willing to take me on.
Tullahoma is a little over an hour from me, and I stopped by the Beech Party yesterday. The museum is so well curated. I appreciated all the history, and seeing the airplanes in person was awesome. Needless to say, I'm inspired.
Brian
