Hello everyone. I am a brand new Bonanza owner. N1567P is my 1988 F33A. I come to the Bonanza community after being a Mooney owner of 2 different Mooneys. I am truly looking forward to all the wonderful hours and trips in my Bonanza.

Some very quick “wish I had known that..”
When spring arrives and you’re done with cabin heat, pull the red firewall cutoff and leave it there until Fall when you need the heater again. That’s the only way to shut off the heat completely on many Bonanzas.
Flaps require uptrim on short body Bonanzas, be ready for that. Further, if you need to do a go-around at low level (say a deer runs on the runway), all that uptrim will require a significant push on the yoke until you retrim. (Similar to 210’s, 182’s, etc)
Flying lean of peak with GamiJectors gives you 1 hour more range in the tanks, which is a huge safety boost, while losing only 5 kts or so.

Wife and I decided we really needed more power so that left us upgrading to an Ovation or similar. Wife is experiencing mobility problems due to medical issues so we really needed something that was also easier for her to get in an out of. The Bonanza is so much easier for her to get in and out of.

I've already ordered my gamijectors. I had them in my Mooney and I will always use them in any aircraft I own. I love being able to fly LOP when I really want or need to stretch my time in the air.

Welcome to the other side, you will love it. If you need anything from a Mooney man now flying the Bo, let me know. Tre, thanks! So far I am loving the Bonanza.
