Hello all. I've been a pilot since 2003, but looking to change over to the Beech world. I look forward to meeting you all.

Welcome Keith! Do tell, what have you been flying? Is a Beechcraft a new acquisition for you?

I've been in a turbo arrow for 17 years, but moving into a beech twin now. Haven't acquired it yet, but working on it.

going though pre-buy now. It's a headache because of scheduling conflicts, but the seller has been very helpful. I cant wait to put some air under the wings (probably another month before I'm in the left seat).

What specifically are you buying? It might even be an airplane someone here used to own or fly.

Welcome aboard Keith! You can learn a lot from this group! Also, you should look at joining ABS if you haven’t already. A wealth of knowledge is available there.
Enjoy your new airplane!

It's a B58P. It's been corporate owned for 20 yrs, so seems to have been well maintained (pending the inspection of course).

Just making sure
viewtopic.php?p=2881772#p2881772
The 58TC and 58P are Part 23 airplanes (under Type Certificate A23CE) and are therefore distinct designs from other Barons. They carry a 10,000 life limit on wings, wing carry-through structure and (in the case of the P-Baron) fuselage pressure vessel. These components time out at 10,000 hours and at the point may no longer be used in type certificated aircraft.

Yep, I know about that life limit, and though I'm not thrilled with it, the time on this aircraft is low enough that it'll still have life left when I no longer do, so...
