Brenda, don't compromise. Have both! Best of luck airplane shopping and hope you do okay on your Lambo.

Hello Brenda, This 500B could be for sale. I don't think it is advertised as such, but you could call Brown Helicopter and ask them. http://www.brownhelicopter.com I ferried this aircraft from Oregon to Pensacola about two years ago for Brown Helicopter and they buy and resell aircraft as part of their business. The interior has been redone recently and its a great flying aircraft. Its worth a try to call if you are interested and you have nothing to lose if they say its not for sale. You can use my name if you want. The Brown's know me personally but I'm really just guessing about its availability.

I'm going to hold on to the Stearman for another year and then replace it with a 500S. I've flown the B-model, it's a really nice handling airplane. The only due diligence I'm going to do is fly an Aerostar at some point to compare. I really like the narrow-deck, six cylinder Lycomings. I've thought the Shrikes were awesome ever since I was a little kid. Ramp presence.
