Transitioned from archer to bonanza. I love it. Recently added GAMIs and floor baffles to the io550. I’m still learning snd getting better. Recently took a 1100 mile round trip and it was great. Going in for a obnoxiously expensive panel upgrade in feb and then will focus on my instrument ticket if I have any money left. Any pointers or questions I’m here!

Welcome to BT Eric! The instrument ticket will greatly increase the utility of your plane! There's lots of great folks here on BT who will be happy to help you spend money on that new panel as well!

Congratulations, the F33A is the best flying Bonanza. I miss mine. You will find it is quite versatile squeezing into smaller airports but just as at home at a busy hub. The BPPP material is very good and well worth the study.

Welcome.

I am currently based KPTW in PA. Used to live near 19N in NJ and was based there.

Where in NJ?

I also had an Archer before my Bonanza. On days with a headwind, 170 KTAS is a lot better than 120 KTAS! The amazing thing for me is, I get the same gas mileage in the Bonanza as I got in the Archer. Just 50 knots faster. Fuel injection, retractable gear and running LOP are wonderful.

Congrats! Welcome to the F33A Club!! Just upgraded to a PA46 after flying my 1974 F33A for 10 years. Going to miss that airplane. Happy to help with any questions you may have.
