Greetings BT'ers,

I recently bought a new-to-me 1964 Bonanza S35 and spent the past couple of days doing some transition training with the previous owner who is a CFII and ATP. We knocked out 11 hours and a bunch of take-offs and landings flying around MD, PA, and DE. It was really good to learn from someone who knows the specific airplane.
Having earned my PP-ASEL in 1993, it is fabulous to finally own my own airplane!

Here are a few photos to share:

Welcome to The Real Bonanza Owners Club.

That's a traveling machine right there.

I covet the large baggage door...

Congratulations. When you think about the improvements in the 1947 model to the 1956, to the 1964… well it was an astonishing period of wringing the most out of an airframe.

Congratulations, Eric!
Did you get lunch at the Hummingbird Cafe in Cumberland? Good spot.

Nice….

You’ll have to join John Majane and a few of us for lunch. We try to go a couple times a month.

Yep, we had lunch there, and it was packed! Seems to be a popular spot with the locals!

Let me know when and where you meet! I’d love to meet up with other Bonanza owners. Thanks for the invite.

Welcome to BT Eric! That's sure a nice plane you found!

And nice job on the most important task in the Introductions thread, which is that you posted a lot of pictures without even being asked!

I've been lurking, and watching people get scolded for no photos! :)
