Hi folks,

I've been lurking for awhile, but time to do a formal introduction! I've bought an A36TC last October. After a lengthy (~2 months) and expensive (30AMU) prebuy I have finally my bird in KPBG. Really excited to be part of Beechtalk as a real Beech owner!

Next steps:
1. Fix the MP issue.
2. Do some minor upgrades, like installing Reiff TurboXP kit, find a single yoke for better clearance, debug Oxygen leaks.
2. Avionics upgrade in April (750XI, PMA460B, GTX345, remove ADF and other relics).
3. Fly!! After the NE weather improves and icing isn't that much of a problem.

The ownership experience has been so far tilting towards money burning in the hangar and a bit less in the air, but I hear that's pretty typical for first time owners.

Open to any advice/experience you folks may have. And hopefully I'll be posting updates as the journey continues to unfold.

Hi, Dmitry. That's a pretty looking plane you have.

I'm part of a club down in Albany. The early part of the day tomorrow is looking good and I'm making a brunch run to SLK with the family in the 182RG. Come enjoy some good weather while it lasts for a few hours ;-)

Welcome and congrats on the new, and nice looking plane. Weather is starting to get better around here now and it sounds like you'll be in great shape to spend a lot more time in the air.

Perhaps a rain-check? I still need to figure out what caused my Manifold Pressure to drop last weekend before I feel comfortable taking it out the hangar. Hopefully will get someone to take a look at it during the week.

Dmitry, definitely a rain check. I hadn't read your thread about the manifold pressure issue, and that would keep me on the ground as well.

If you're ever looking for company, be sure to post in the N.England/northeast fly-in thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=118175

The skies over the Adirondacks were smooth as glass today. A high, somewhat thick overcast kept everything calm, but the light was dim and flat. Shades of medium gray as far as the eye could see.
