Thanks for the add and hello from WJF in Lancaster CA. I’m a retired AF pilot (C-17s and C-141s) and currently in the market for a Bonanza model 35 in the 30-40K range if possible. I’ve heard great things about the Beechcraft community and I’m looking forward to meeting some folks and learning more about these great airplanes.

Hey Doug!
My first solo cross country was from CMA to WJF, and more recently I flew there on a checkout in a Saratoga.
Welcome to BT!

Hello Members! My name is Richard Clyman and I am deaf pilot, Class-III ASEL VFR Private Pilot. I have a cochlear implant and I speak well and I am also fluent in ASL (American Sign Language). I am new to this Beech Talk (BT). I am strong GA enthusiast and it has been my life-long dream to fly a Beech A36 as I have always wanted to fly one, and dream of owning one. Although a very expensive one. Generally, I am a Piper and Cessna pilot. A cousin of mine once owned an older Beech J-series (an earlier version of the V36) I flew with him in the right seat in my mid 20's back then. Loved that plane except for the V tail design I was not keen on due to challenging use in cross wind approach and landing that tend to tail-wag a lot. I preferred the A36 version as it has always been my #1 favorite. I live in South Florida and I am hoping some day to meet one of you members who happens to live in South Florida and owns a A36, and offer me a ride to experience the joy and appreciation of the qualities of Beech A36. I have not flown in more than ten years due to financial difficulties. My license and medical, both are current and in good standing. Just that I need to get more current training in order to get signed off for renting an aircraft. I learn much about the A36 by studying closely on YouTube such as one of my favorite channel is "FlyWire" and Matt Guthmiller. I learn much from them on youtube.com. I look forward to hopefully "meet" and hear from you guys on this BT site. God Bless and safe flights to all of you out there.

Thanks Antoni! WJF is a good destination if you don’t mind the wind. Been to CMA a few times and it’s always enjoyable. Excellent tri-tip there at the Waypoint cafe!
