Hello everyone. I'm a new member based in Bluffton, SC flying out of KHXD. My good friend and long time V35 owner David Field suggested I join the BT forum to get educated before launching into a potential airplane purchase. I've never owned an airplane before, having rented C152's, C172's and C182's after getting my PPL in 2008. One of my bucket list goals after I retired in 2019 was to work on my instrument rating which I completed in 2020. I'm now renting the same Piper PA-28 I did my IFR training and check ride in but feel it's time to break out and get into my own airplane. I'm hoping that by reading the many great BeechTalk forums and getting input and advice from fellow members, I'll be able to become a Bonanza owner in the not too distant future!
