I wish my daughter would fly, she loves to go flying, but has only had a casual interest in getting a PPL. I have three kids and only the youngest says he want to become a pilot, he’s now 16 and does nothing but play video games, so I am slowly losing hope. That looks like a G6 cockpit. Welcome Megan!

Welcome Megan, you are going to have a lot of fun and get much advise. I've worked on the Bonanza series, rebuilt and flown them. So like they say in SoCal, don't let the gloss draw you in. Have fun with those pre-buys and pre-flights.

Close. I can't read the center pedestal switch left of the throttles. if it says "Lateral Control", it is a G450. If it says "Spoiler Control", it is a G550.

Ah. Didn't know either of those HUD's. Thought that was a G6 thing only.

Yes, both the G450 and G550 have HUD options. We used our HUD in all flight regimes and with infra-red runway in sight, were able to go 100' below DH.
