Hello,
I am a first time Beechcraft owner located in Vacaville, CA at the Nut Tree Airport (KVCB).
I just purchased a 1960 Debonair as my family hauler. It has had some good upgrades over the years, IO-520BA, 3 bladed Mac, Speedslope and a few others. It has a basic IFR set up with dual KX-155's, LOC/GS, CDI, Stratus ADSB Transponder. I will be looking to upgrade it a bit with a HSI and new AI fairly soon. I'd like to have a GPS and LOC/GS coupled to the HSI so I can do the odd approach when needed.
I am a corporate pilot current in Gulfstream models GLF5 and G600. I am also an A&P IA.
Being new to the Beechcraft arena, I will be looking for help and suggestions as I try to learn about my new bird. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thanks,

Thanks, Welcome Brant! I don’t see many pilots referring to their Debonair as a family hauler but ours has served that purpose well. We were able to make a lot of memories before the kids moved out of the house. Sounds like you’ve got a reasonable plan in place.
