I recently joined this forum to learn and hopefully help with my desire to outright own, or form a partnership, (more likely) in a Baron BE55. I have been flying since high school days in late 70's, (yes dating myself), and I have a Commercial License with both Instrument and Multi engine ratings along with expired CFI with 755 hours TT. I have a little time in a BE58 and at one point thought a Cirrus SR22 might be the way to go but it decided I would rather have two engines versus the chute and the ability to carry 4 adults and baggage with little compromise.
I am in the early phase of getting to ownership, and will be a sponge on everything with the BE55. I have some limited information about operating costs and would love to know what those are along with different approaches you owners out there leverage to help minimize those costs. I have read some do owner assisted annuals and being very mechanically inclined, I would love to hear experiences with that. Please share as much information as you are willing to as I will pour through it and archive it. My goal is ownership in the next two years.
Much Thanks!
Brian Burton

Hi Brian and welcome t BT. Yes lots here about the....well about almost every brand, not just Beech. So lots for you to read. And if you are considering a partnership, lots also on that subject. Do's and don'ts. If you use the search function you should be able to find some discussions on agreements. Which to me, seems like an often neglected subject, until it is too late. Enjoy!
