BeechTalk - BT - Clint- A36 in Kerrville, TX saying hello!

Hi everyone! Been lurking and learning but wanted to formally intoduce myself.

I bought into a TN A36 based at KERV in September. I am a 2005 ERAU grad, CFI/MEI but haven't flown actively since 2007. Just shy of 500 hours TT. I have just passed the 20 hour mark in my 1981 A36 I'm a 50% partner in. I'm a business broker in central TX and intend to fly around the state working on business deals for clients. I have 4 small kids ages 12,10,8,6 and am super excited to fill all 6 seats and take them on fun regional trips and the wife out on date nights. I hope to fly it all the way to FL and the Bahamas next May.

I'm interested in learning about:

- mastering the tornado alley system
- TX fly-ins and meetups of bonanza owners
- Angel Flights and ministry flights

Getting back in the air is a dream come true after having to put flying on hold as I got married, had kids, and started businesses on bootstrap budgets. It is an honor to be part of this knowledgeable board and special fraternity of Beech owners and I am going to be a sponge and learn all I can from you all.

Welcome Clint! Glad to hear the deal went through. Looking forward to seeing you at the next M&A Source conference, assuming live and not anymore of this virtual crap.

I'll second what Doug posted above about the course from George. I've had my TN36 for almost three years and prior to that no experience with anything with a turbo, never mine LOP. Follow the TAT guidelines and you can't go wrong. Your going to love the machine with that engine.
