Home field is KGMJ and I recently helped my 18 yo son beat me to the punch of getting his ppl. We ended up purchasing a pa28-180 and upgraded the avionics, self installed under a watchful eye, and just recently sold it for a small profit. I’m still working on my ppl and with a furlough that may slow it down a little bit but I just recently got my license to sell insurance and will start selling aviation related insurance in June 1. Wife was browsing for planes last night and showed me one she liked and lo and behold it was a bonanza.

Welcome to BT! I grew up just east of Grove and used to fly into GMJ when my grandparents were still with us. They retired to the lake and lived up by Iron Horse.
Do you know my friend Doug Cox? He used to have a Cherokee 6 there but I haven't talked to him in years.
Take care. John
