Ejet at work (based in Lille!), and a really nice doctor is flying me around with his 172 from Merville.

Let's see if we can meet some day, let's bring a few Karmeliet and some maroilles! A few waffles, a few fries, some flying, that would be a pretty good day!

Very nice, the airfield I fly from normally is EBKT just across the border from Lille.

I am planning to do some touch and go with my instructor on the A36 in Merville sometime next week. I guess I need to figure out wether or not that will be allowed regarding our newly imposed travel restrictions.

We should certainly try to meet up somewhere in northern France once permitted.

I'm sending you my phone number via private message, depending on the day maybe we'll see each others in Merville!

Be sure to check the Notam FIR for France, as it includes the latest info re. covid restrictions.
From what I've read yesterday, crews are still exempted on my side of things. But aren't your borders closed until the end of Feb.? I suppose a flight plan will make things a bit...indiscrete!

I'm a pilatus fan!!!!
Congrats, lovely looking airplane.

Thanks! I fell in love with the P3, and the Pilatus quality when a colleague who owns one showed me his bird...they are great. Can't afford a PC-12, unfortunately. Now they have a nice A-36 for sale in Belgium, that would be a nice combo, but that'd be too much as well ;-)

I love the idea, though after a few Karmeliet, we'll have to spend the night in Le Bouquet...not a bad thing.

Au plaisir de se rencontrer!

Hello Renaud,

Congratulations on that nice Pilatus. What a nice vintage aircraft.

I happen to be another new BT member, from Belgium. I'll leave my intro for a separate thread, but I'm also contemplating purchase of an aircraft and stuck between a beech, or something more sporty/aerobatic the likes of a Marchetti SF260.
Haven't flown the latter so definitely not ready to pull any trigger yet.

Where are you basing the P3?

Greetings

Hi Sebastien
thanks! Based at Sint-Truiden, together with a few nice older aircrafts.
There's a nice (well it looks nice) A36 for sale in Kortrijk.

Great. Been a while since my last time at EBST. I remember there were some interesting aircraft in the hangar there last time.

Regarding the A36, yes I just spotted it today. I was checked out on another A36 earlier this week. I will rent it a few times soon and see what I think of it.

So far I really like it. I hope to be riding shotgun in the sF260 soon.

Enjoy your P3 =) Maybe we meet in Sint Truiden one day
