It is true. Green Mountain Avionics technicians are artists. Wait until you see my new fuel tank indicator system. It displays left & right tips & main, off or if the fuel selector handle is misaligned. Brilliant.

Hoping to program the AOA tomorrow and learn about care & feeding of the 650/750xi and the G500Txi. After 3-1/2 years of not being home, after getting a complete restoration of everything except the engine, it may come home Friday. Long road. But it flies better than ever. Was it worth it?

I dropped it off at Louie Edmonds at Parlin Field in Newport, New Hampshire two weeks ago. My concerns were high CHT’s in climb out, feeling hot air from forward and the slip/skid indicator out to the left in cruise. Finally, if you attended a service clinic thinking your airplane was perfect, we know you left with a laundry list. I wanted a specialist to check it out. I pick it up tomorrow.

A saga that began in December of 2016 ended today. I brought my airplane home. With new paint, interior, panel and glass it is as close as one can get to a new V35. No expense has been spared. WX500. G500Txi, 750/650xi, EIS500. B&C standby alternator. Drop dead paint job, every trace of corrosion gone, dzues fasteners replaced with cam locks, all new tail and wing root seals, gear and gear motor overhauled, improved baffling...all on a Mike Smith airplane.
Next stop: Garmin school.
