New member, low time pilot. 220 hrs, all in a C172. I am searching for a used Sundowner for my first plane. Also my first forum, of any kind. How do I set up a signature?

Hi Rae, Welcome to BeechTalk. There is a club for the AeroClub family of planes, which included the Sundowner. Check it out at http://www.beechaeroclub.org/home/The Sundowner is a nice airplane, big and roomy, so a bit slower than a 172 on the same power. Things to look for are the bonding of the wing skins and any evidence of a hard nose wheel strike. But there are others here with much greater familiarity and knowledge, so I’ll defer to them. The signature can be added from your profile. Go to preferences in the band below the banner at the top, select profile and look for ’edit signature’. Good luck, Dave

Hi Rae and welcome to BT! Enjoy the shopping for your first plane. Will be lots to see and check out. Don't fall in love with it until after you bought it!
