Hi all, I am starting the search for a new plane. Long story short, about 3 years my wife and I crashed our Mooney. Or as I like to say, had an off airport landing, seeing as we both walked away from it. Needless to say, my wife has been leery of flying after that, but she has recently been remembering how great it was to fly places rather than drive. So the search started. My wife is pregnant with our first, so our family is growing. The Mooney was great for 2 people, but as we start adding more, and all the stuff that comes along with kids, I want something bigger.
I'm thinking of getting an A36, so that I have room to grow. Though my budget is about 200k, trying to stay lower than that if I could. I'm thinking of getting a plane with a run out engine or in need of some work to save some money up from then upgrade as I have the funds.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.
