I'm a new member and looking forward to flying again after many years of raising a family. Took a ground school course and now ready to get into the air again and then working on my instrument rating. Been thinking hard about owning my own aircraft with the V35 as my primary choice. Always been a Beechcraft fan and have about 5 hours in a G35 back in the 90s. Always been an airplane person from being that little boy at the end of the runway at the local airport to private pilot, A&P, and working for the Navy doing avionics for fighter and attack aircraft. Mainly helmet mounted displays and night vision. With backseat flights in the F-4, F/A-18 and TA-7s.

I'll at least start instrument training before buying an aircraft. I learned with the old steam gauges so not very up on what's out there today. Been doing a lot of reading and looking at pictures of cockpit layouts and the selections are endless. but looking forward to what the new capabilities have to offer in ease of navigation.
