I checked today and the "Tiger" is paint, not vinyl. It turns out the P-Baron is based here at AVL, although I've never seen it before. Must not fly much...

I asked Joe about that aircraft because I was thinking maybe it was a wrap but according to him the FAA does not allow wraps on aircraft so most likely it is airbrush. It is a beautiful paint job. :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Certainly Joe must be mistaken. I know of experimental aircraft that are 100% wrapped. Maybe that's the difference?

It looks like you can get wraps but I couldn't find the FAA regs regarding it. I did read one article about it from a guy who does wraps that it costs almost the same as paint and doesn't last very long. Maybe a year and also depending if aircraft is kept in a hangar.
