I would like to say hello to everyone here at Beechtalk.

I am looking for my first Beechcraft Sierra or Sundowner (haven't found it yet) but I will be sure to post pics and share I learn with other pilots here.

Thank you

Marcos.

Welcome Marcos! Nice choice of airplane. What have you been flying up to now?

I've been flying the Piper Warrior for quite some time now, but I always found it to be small and just a bit under powered.

I sold my Warrior right before I got deployed to IRAQ (I am a U.S. Army Veteran) and I've been back for a few years now I think it's time for something a little bigger that I can afford.

The Warrior was more like a trainer and I hear the Sundowner and Sierra are not known for their blazing fast speeds, but for me, the new plane will be a way to get back in the air just for the joy of it.

I hear a lot of horror stories about great airplanes that just sit on hangers and never get flown because it's too expensive and I think the Sierra or the Sundowner will be a great fit for my budget.

Marcos,

I am down the road from you in Poplar Bluff. I am dreaming of retirement and learning to fly. The baby beech series in on my radar as well. Take a look at http://www.beechaeroclub.org for all the info you could ever want on the series.
