Hello all, I am considering buying a 1953 D35 v-tail bonanza. It has an E-185-11 with the electric prop. I have own a 1967 Cessna 172 for the last 6 years, and I am looking to set up to a bonanza. So, basically I know very little about the bonanza aircraft, and I was hoping for some guidance as to where to start my education. I do know about the tbo on the prop, and parts are difficult to find. However, I am looking to know what I don’t know. Examples of what to look for ie wing spares, flaps, tail strengthening etc. is there a book I need to read etc. Thank you for your time.
Ed

Hi Ed, welcome to BT. I don't know about books, but there is a lot of information on tap if you play around with the search feature. Other places of interest.... American Bonanza Society https://www.bonanza.org/And this place, http://www.csobeech.com/Hope this helps.

Thanks for the welcome! I am definitely digging around. Who would you recommend for a pre buy inspection near Florida?

That is a great arrival. I feel much the same way. I ordered the books last night. Funny how pilots think alike. Again, thinks for the information. I am headed down to Florida the 23rd. I might even bring home a new bird. Edde
