Hello everyone!
My business partner passed a little over a month ago. Together we ran several businesses, as well as own and operate several aircrafts. King Airs, Cheyenne, Barons, Cessna, Dukes to name a few. After the initial shock of his passing has lessoned, I'm not heart broke as he was my "corporate husband". My ying to the yang, the other half. Many may know him, and if you do; I welcome your messages. He was known as, Kirk J Nelson, Nelson, and Harry! He worked for several firms before venturing out on his own and joining hands with me for this scary ride of entrepreneurship. Continental Motors and Teledyne are the most talked about employment ventures he had.
Here is the problem: I am the brains and systematical thinker...long story short - I did the work. My partner though, he was the dreamer, and the aircraft mechanic!! He knew airframes and engines in and out. He grew up in the industry, specialized in A&P, was a master mechanic. Numerous people would call him just for advice on how to "cheaply" perform an overhaul, or where to find a part, or just to BS on the latest "not needed" gadget.
So needless to say, I'm now in charge of it all; and for the most part, it is going the same as before, but I am not the master mechanic. I do not know where to get the best deal, and I sure can't help anyone with their engines
I'm looking for some help in located areas that deal in salvaged or serviceable parts for sale - as routinely (like daily) I have items that are needed. On the flip side; I have a massive warehouse full of parts for all sorts of models - that need to be sold.
So, thank you for welcoming me and I look forward to learning and getting to know everyone!
Alissa
