Hello to all,
I have been following BeechTalk for quite some time, at the recommendation of my aviation insurance agent. I've been trying to educate myself reading archives and following posts. I wish I would have known of this community years ago, it is quite simply amazing, the vast amount of knowledge present. I am a 50 year young, lifelong aviation enthusiast and a 18 month old Private pilot pursuing my IFR ticket, evaluating what aircraft to buy.
Thanks to all

Hey scott. Welcome. I’m sitting in a hotel in KC right now. Took an overnight trip up here. The wife and I brought our 7 year old boy to legoland as a Christmas present.
KC downtown is a fantastic GA airport for such a big city! 2nd time flying here.

I used to belong to the Flying Club of KC...let's just say there's no love lost between me and "management" I belonged to the Flying Club of KC when it was the Navy Aero Club. T-34B for $55/wet. Those were the days! Made it worth the monthly mandatory safety session. There are a bunch of us around KC. John
