Hi! Long time lurker. I went in on a partnership with another beechtalker and we bought a 1966 V35 (N916RC). We had looked long and hard and everywhere, but in the end bought a V35 located right at our home airport (KMYF)! We had Kurt at F70 do the prebuy inspection and annual, and we got to fly it for the first time this past weekend and bring it back home to KMYF. Some highlights/features: - 30 gal d'shannon tip tanks - 530W - Dual G5 - Bendix AOA - Century 2000 Autopilot - EDM JPI 930 - GTX 345 On climb out the #4 cylinder gets hot (~430F); we're thinking of adding the d'shannon baffle kit. And maybe the d'shannon running board? An also install a yoke ipad mount. Some day upgrading the 530W / autopilot? Buy and figure out a place to mount a fire extinguisher. Oh, the list goes on and on I'm excited to finally join the ranks of Bonanza owners! Any advice for new bonanza owners? Attachment: IMG_4912.jpg Attachment: IMG_4766.JPG Attachment: IMG_4767.JPG

Roy...yup, plus one member. Not sure if I’ll stay in the club though, now that I have my own plane. Are you a member?

The G5 can only feed heading/course info to the Century 2000 (with the GAD29b). The vacuum powered AI is still needed to feed attitude info to the Century 2000. So I still need to maintain the vacuum pump and vacuum AI for the foreseeable future.

That makes sense. I thought the analog AI I saw in the panel was an electric back up..
