Hi all. Fellow BT member Dave Pyett suggested I get myself into this forum and hopefully reignite my yearning for classic Beech! My background was originally as an engine guy, mainly overhauling piston power plants as well as general maintenance. My first Beech was a G35 which I flew to gain my commercial licence. I got an offer too good to refuse and foolishly sold her. I then got into the charter and freight scene eventually flying Queenairs. I loved those things, the best way of converting avgas into music! I spent a few thousand hours in them and never had a single engine issue. I even ferried a few Excaliburs from the US to Australia. Roll on the years and I’m flying the big stuff but still miss the times I spent in those Beech. One day I may just convince myself and my financial controller (the female variety!) to finally dip my toes back into Beech ownership. If it has a V tail or geared engines I’ll likely be reading with great envy!! Thanks for allowing me to join and look forward to reading more about these great machines we all love!

Welcome Steve,
Think the Duke does a good job as well on converting the 100LL to music too.
If ever in Dallas,Tx give a shout out - will take you to some great BBQ!

Ken You never know! A friend of mine has just moved to Bonita Springs in Florida, if I ever drop over it would be on the direct DFW flight! Those 541’s are an awesome engine
