Good morning,
About two months ago I embarked on a mission to buy a very nice F33A. Not an easy task as there are fewer than 1000 of them in the USA. After looking at dozens of planes which did not live up to the hype of the ad or its owner, I finally found what I was looking for - a pristine 1994 F33A. Mission accomplished!

Looking forward to learning more about these great Bonanzas from the rest of you here at Beech Talk.

John

Welcome to BT, John. Beautiful airplane!!! Update your profile with your location...if you’re close, i’d like to take a look at that Beauty in person.

Very nice!!! Need more pictures though. I also have a 1994 F33A with the same paint job (except the N numbers). Not sure if you know but yours was 3rd from the last one made based upon SN.

My F33 was probably my favorite airplane. I have flown all of the popular ones over the years. It was a feet on the floor, straight flying machine. 163kts all day long 12.5ish GPH. Can load 4 in it if needed.

I could fly that airplane on a wire and spot land it anywhere I wanted. That gave me a lot of confidence. If you are ever engine out, with the gear down, full flaps and prop forward you can literally dive at your landing point. The plane in that configuration does not gain that much energy from 1000ft agl. Try it.

Fly it, "by the numbers" and it is an outstanding instrument platform. 17inches of MP is what I call the "safe harbor." Clean and in level flight that will put you under 152kts indicated for gear extension. You can do anything from there. If control of the aircraft is ever in doubt, drop the gear. Enjoy!

Congrats on that beauty, you have a late model keeper for sure!

And I have one of the first, 1970 F33A serial number CE305. I've owned it over 31 years now, nothing better for me. It has a 908lb payload with 80 gallons full fuel, updated panel, two blade prop and a joy to fly.

Now if Beech would only start up that production line again, make it as light as possible with an all Garmin panel, A/C and a price at least a couple hundred thousand less than a Cirrus :cross: I know i'm only dreaming.

Great looking plane. I’m in the neighborhood, KFTW. Would love to see it sometime. I’m down at my our homedrome a lot.

Welcome John, nice plane. Dad's at Pecan, maybe we'll see you some time.
